Supporting our farmers since 1934
The Scottish business can trace back to 1934 when Robert Aitken took over the Smiddy at Tullibardine with his family. When he passed, his sons, Jimmy, Ian and Rab took over the business, where they continued to expand and develop the workshop to accommodate various types of Agricultural machinery. They provided the community with an abundance of engineering expertise. The business currently located at Strathallan Airfield aims to continue this by providing high quality and timely, engineering services to the local community.
Tullibardine Smiddy, is currently run by Neil Aitken and his son Craig. Neil has worked at Tullibardine Smiddy since he was 18 and provides over 40 years of experience in fabrication and engineering. Craig, having served in the Royal Engineers, returns to support his Father in developing The Smiddy for the future. The team consists of fabricators, agricultural engineers and a parts specialist, with a retail shop being the latest addition to the business allowing us to stock more fast-moving spares.
Tullibardine Smiddy is a Blacksmith and Agricultural Engineers that provides our customers with engineering solutions, spares parts and fabrication skills that will keep them moving forwards throughout the year.
